EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
A successful home requires much more than individual trades completing individual tasks. Every stage needs to connect properly with the next. Arma Built manages the construction process as a whole - coordinating trades, sequencing works, monitoring progress and ensuring the different components of the build come together in the correct order. This oversight is particularly important because decisions made during one stage can directly affect another. Our role is to manage those moving parts so you are not left coordinating your own builder, trades and construction program.
COMMUNICATION YOU CAN RELY ON
One of the biggest concerns homeowners have when building is being left wondering what is happening with their home. We do not believe you should have to chase your builder for basic information. Throughout construction, Arma Built keeps you informed about meaningful progress, upcoming stages, decisions requiring your input and matters that may affect the project and when something requires a more difficult conversation, we believe that conversation should happen clearly and promptly. Good communication is not about telling a client that everything is perfect. It is about making sure they understand what is happening, including when something needs to be resolved.
QUALITY BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN SEE
The finishes are what you notice when you first walk into a completed home. But much of what determines the quality of that home is eventually hidden. Structure, waterproofing, services, preparation, set-outs, installation and the coordination between different trades all happen before the final finishes are complete. That is why our attention to workmanship extends throughout construction. We monitor the build progressively rather than waiting until the final walkthrough to start looking closely. Because a home should not simply look well built. The construction behind what you see should give you the same confidence.
Choosing a builder is one of the most important decisions you will make during your project. You are not simply choosing who will construct the walls, roof and finishes. You are choosing the team that will manage a substantial financial investment, coordinate the people working on your home, communicate with you when decisions need to be made and respond when construction does not go exactly as expected. That responsibility matters to us, at Arma Built we strive to provide:
TRANSPARENCY AROUND COSTS AND CHANGES
Construction can involve changes. A homeowner may decide to upgrade or alter something. Documentation may change. Or an unforeseen site condition may reveal work that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand. What matters is how those circumstances are handled. Where a change affects the agreed scope of works, Arma Built aims to communicate what is changing, why it is required and the relevant implications before the varied work proceeds wherever practicable. You should understand what you are approving. No vague explanations. No avoiding difficult conversations. No leaving important information until the end of the project. Our approach is based on transparency so that decisions can be made with appropriate information.
A HOME BUILT AROUND YOU
Custom construction should actually feel custom. Your home should reflect your plans, your priorities and the way you intend to live - not be forced into somebody else's formula. Whether your priorities are open-plan family living, entertaining, architectural detailing, additional accommodation, storage, premium finishes, outdoor connections or simply creating a home that works better for everyday life, we take the time to understand what the project is intended to achieve. The objective is not to make your home look like every other Arma Built project. It is to make it feel unmistakably yours.
ACCOUNTABILITY FROM BEGINNING TO END
When you appoint Arma Built, you should know who is responsible for managing your construction. We take ownership of our role in coordinating the build, managing site activity, communicating with you and addressing matters that arise during construction. You should not be left trying to chase different trades or work out who is responsible for resolving an issue. Your builder should take responsibility for managing the build. That is what you are engaging us to do.
RESPECT FOR YOUR HOME AND YOUR INVESTMENT
To us, your project is a construction site. To you, it represents something much bigger. It may represent years of saving, a major financial commitment and the home in which your family intends to spend the next chapter of its life. We never lose sight of that distinction. We approach each project with respect for the property, the investment being made and the trust placed in us to deliver it. That trust is not something we expect simply because a contract has been signed. It is something we intend to earn throughout the build.
